To Have & To Hold: Final Statement

In this book I tried to use textures from daily life. In many of my compositions I contrasted feminine with masculine imagery to mimic the blend of a married couple. 

I really enjoyed this project despite the amount of stress it has caused me this past week. I feel like more abstract objectives will prepare me to really think through more practical applications of design like the posters the junior class presented today.

I feel like this poster employs continuation. 

The images of the flowers and the people create a sloping shape that surrounds the red type. Also, the type seems to jump off the page in front of the imagery.
